High-end executive search firms get a retainer (up-front fee) to perform a specific search for a corporate officer or other senior executive position. Search fees are 33.33% of the annual compensation of the recruited executive. We provide a replacement guarantee of one year (12 months), calculated from the date of joining of the candidate.


Contingent search

Contingent search contracts are when we are remunerated only upon the successful completion of the search—typically when the candidate accepts the position. Salaries for such positions hardly ever reach 90,00,000 per annum. Guarantee of free replacement never exceeds six months for any candidate. 

Fees too remain low, that is within the range of 8.33% of the annual salary to 16.66% of the annual salary of the selected candidate who finally joins your organisation.

Intex Technologies will invest around Rs 60 crore (US$ 9.27 million) in 2018 in technology software and Internet of Things (IoT) startups in India in order to create an ecosystem for its consumer appliances and mobile devices.

Micromax plans to invest US$ 89.25 million by 2020 for transforming itself into a consumer electronics company.

Haier announced an investment of Rs 3,000 crore (US$ 415.80 million) as it aims a two fold increase in its revenue by 2020.

Government Initiatives in this regard:

National Policy on Electronics Policy was passed by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology in February 2019.

A new Consumer Protection Bill has been approved by the Union Cabinet, Government of India that will make the existing laws more effective with a broader scope.

The mobile phone industry in India expects that the Government of India's boost to production of battery chargers will result in setting up of 365 factories, thereby generating 800,000 jobs by 2025.

The Union Cabinet has approved incentives up to Rs 10,000 crore (US$ 1.47 billion) for investors by amending the M-SIPS scheme, in order to further incentivise investments in electronics sector, create employment opportunities and reduce dependence on imports by 2020.

The Government of India has allowed 100 per cent Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) under the automatic route in Electronics Systems Design & Manufacturing sector. FDI into single brand retail has been increased from 51 per cent to 100 per cent; the government is planning to hike FDI limit in multi-brand retail to 51 per cent.

Road Ahead

Indian appliance and consumer electronics (ACE) market is expected to increase at a 9 per cent CAGR to reach Rs 3.15 trillion (US$ 48.37 billion) in 2022. Demand growth is likely to accelerate with rising disposable incomes and easy access to credit. Increasing electrification of rural areas and wide usability of online sales would also aid growth in demand.

15. What is the correct way to follow up an interview?


Sending your Resume repeatedly after fixed intervals is a good strategy at a junior or junior middle level. But the same strategy works negatively at Middle and Senior level positions. At the Middle and Senior levels personal Rapport with your Consultancy or Target Company is very important. If you suddenly decide to Entertain in a High Class Restaurant or well known Club either the Consultancy or Target Company then, your intentions become suspect. Entertain them at regular intervals throughout your life. Dine, play Golf, meet at the same club those very people who are important to your future.


16. Should I tell a prospective employer that I make more money than I really do?


No, you must not!
